BUwireless Instructions - Faculty/Staff and Students
CURRENT WIRELESS USERS
UNSECURE:
- BUwireless is broadcast, meaning you can pick the network name or “SSID” from the “View Available Wireless Networks” list on your Windows computer, or select BUwireless from your AirPort icon located on the menu bar of your Apple OS X computer.
AERIS:

If you currently use Aeris, it will continue to work.
- If you choose BUwireless, you will have to disconnect from it to continue to use Aeris. For additional information, see the documentation under the Aeris heading on the main wireless page.
NEW TO CAMPUS?
- Select BUwireless from the available wireless networks list on your computer.
- You will be redirected to a Web page that will provide you with information on Bradley’s wireless networking option.

Determine which type of connection you would like to use:
- BUwireless Faculty/Staff/Students – basic access to World Wide Web; requires one-time registration
- BUwireless Guest – http and https access only; requires daily registration
- Aeris Faculty/Staff/Students – encrypted; allows full Outlook access and drive mapping; requires one-time system configuration
