BUwireless Instructions - Faculty/Staff and Students

BUwireless is broadcast, meaning you can pick the network name or “SSID” from the list displayed by your operating system. It is also unsecure so should not be used to send sensitive or personal information.

Windows XP Systems

The list is displayed on the “Wireless Network Connection” dialog.

The list is displayed on the “Connect to a network” dialog.

Mac OS X Systems

From the AirPort icon located on the menu bar select the desired network.

If you currently have Aeris configured it will continue to work. Choosing BUwireless instead is feasible, just remember that you will disconnect from it before accessing Aeris.
