BUwireless Instructions - Guests

Select BUwireless from the "View Available Wireless Networks" list on your Windows computer, or select BUwireless by clicking on your AirPort icon located on the menu bar of your Apple OS X computer.

You will be redirected to a Web page that will provide you with information on Bradley's wireless networking options
Select BUwireless Guest
You will then be redirected to a simple guest registration page, providing you access to the World Wide Web
All guest accounts expire daily at 6 a.m., requiring you to re-register

You will not be able to connect to our guest network using Windows XP unless you first log in as a user with administrative rights, then:

Install Service Pack 2 if not installed
Install Hot Fix #KB885453
Install Hot Fix #KB917021
Install the latest drivers for your wireless card from the vendor
Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections > Wireless Network Connection
or Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Wireless Network Connection
Click on Properties
Select the Wireless Networks tab.
Make sure Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings is checked
