BUnetID
Your BUnetID is your identification to register for Orientation and classes, access Library resources, log into lab computers, access MyBU, BlackBoard and Sakai, and much more.
HOW DO I GET (activate) MY BUnetID? With your invitation to attend the new student Orientation, you received an account activation letter which includes your BUnetID and your PIN (activation) code.
It is extremely important that you complete the BUnetID account activation process

- Registering for Orientation through the mail? Complete the BUnetID activation process prior to attending your Orientation session.
When you activate your BUnetID, you will set up a unique password and answer two (2) secret questions for security reasons. Use the Password Guidelines recommended by Bradley University before choosing a password.
Important: choose a password that you will be able to remember
and do not share it with anyone!
To learn more about your BUnetID account, visit the Technology HelpDesk Account Management section. Immediately after activating your BUnetID, you should complete the foreWarn process.

Networking
All residence halls are equipped with wired, high speed networking. Wireless networking is not available in dorm rooms at this time. However, wireless access is available in some common areas. If you are picking up a wireless connection from your dorm room, it is not a Bradley provided access point and is not secure.
The Cullom-Davis Library provides wired and wireless access including laptop checkout services. Windows-based laptop computers are available for 4-hour check-out to Bradley students from the Reserves Desk. Bradley students are required to have a valid Bradley ID to use lab computers or to check out a laptop. Laptop equipment can only be used within the library building and is available on a first come first served basis. A $0.25 per minute late fee is assessed for the late return of a laptop. Phone: 309-677-3315.
Bradley is planning to expand the wireless network in residence halls in the future. If you choose to use the wireless network in the common areas, your computer should be set up to access secure wireless networking through Aeris. When you enter our wireless network for the first time you should choose the secure wireless option and follow the instructions for the initial, one time set-up. Campus wireless locations and proposed installations can be found here.

There is no charge to access the network in the Residence Halls.
IF MY COMPUTER ‘BREAKS’ WHILE I’M AT BU, CAN SOMEONE FIX IT FOR ME?
