Blackboard Account Management

The Bradley University Blackboard program uses your BUnetID to log in, but is not synchronized with your BUnetID account.  Therefore, it is necessary to set up your Blackboard password separately.  When you change your BUnetID password, we suggest that you change your Blackboard password at the same time.

How to Set Up or Change Your Blackboard Password


The instructions below will help you set up or change your Blackboard password. Choose section 1 to set up your blackboard password (your username is your BUnetID) and choose section 2 if you want to change your blackboard password:

1)  To set up your Blackboard password, you will need access to your B-Mail account. 

* Go to http://blackboard.bradley.edu
* The Blackboard page will appear.
* Click the Log In link (upper left)
* Click Forgot Your Password (under login password box)

You will be redirected to a 'Lost Password' screen:
* Type all the requested information in section 1 only (Note: these are case sensitive):
* First Name
* Last Name
* User Name (BUnetID)
* Click Submit to have Blackboard reference your account.
* If the information matches the account information Blackboard has for you, you will be sent an email to your B-Mail account..
* Check your email for a new message.
* Click the link
* Type all the requested information, including:
* New Password
* Verify (retype) New Password
* Click Submit to finalize the change

2. Change your Blackboard password:  you must know your current Blackboard password in order to perform these tasks.

* Go to http://blackboard.bradley.edu
* The Blackboard page will appear.
* Click the Log In link
* Type your Username and Current Password (these are case sensitive), then click Login
* Click on Personal Information
* Click on Change Password
* Type all the requested information, including:
* New Password
* Verify (retype) New Password
* Click Submit to finalize the change
